Experiencing weakness?

Are you broken and weak and in need of a strong Savior?  Visit my blog - "weakchristian" - to learn why I do not want to be a strong Christian, but rather to be weak enough to daily depend on a strong gospel!

My blog site is simply my journaling of who and what I am.  Weak, but saved.  I am a weak Christian.  I have never been able to live the life of a strong Christian, try as I may.  Even more, I have never been able to live out the gospel for others to see when I thought I was a "strong Christian."  So I am coming to believe more than ever that I don't want to be a strong Christian - I want to be a weak Christian who lives out a rich gospel dependence in all that I am, and am not.

May God use your weakness to call you to depend on the righteous life of Christ, and may he make your weaknesses THE continual lens through which you discover the depth of his power to save, to comfort, and ultimately to shine out his glory through your brokenness which he will one day fully mend!

2 Corinthians 12:8-10 (the words of the weak apostle Paul)

Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it [my weakness] should leave me.  But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."  Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.  For when I am weak, then I am strong.
